“He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-nine years…He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord…Hezekiah trusted in the Lord…There was no one like him among all kings of Judah, either before him or after him.”

2 Kings: 18:2-7 (NIV)

“(Later) Hezekiah got sick.  He was about to die.  The prophet Isaiah said “Prepare your affairs and your family.  This is it:  You’re going to die.  You’re not going to get well.  Hezekiah turned away from Isaiah and, facing the wall, prayed to God: “God, please, I beg You:  Remember how I’ve lived my life.  I’ve lived faithfully in Your presence, lived out of a heart that is totally Yours.  You’ve seen how I lived, the good that I have done.” …Then God said, “I’ve heard your prayer.  I have seen your tears.  Here’s what I will do: I’ll add fifteen years to your life” Isaiah 38:1-5 (MSG)

  1. GOD WANTS ME TO __________ MY LIFE AROUND HIM. (WORSHIP)

  1. GOD WANTS ME TO ________________ WITH BELIEVERS.

(FELLOWSHIP)

“…not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25 (NIV)

“Those who believed… were baptized and added to the churchThey joined with the other believers and committed themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship… They worshiped together regularly at the Temple… and met in small groups in homes

  1. GOD WANTS ME TO ___________________ SPIRITUAL

MATURITY.  (DISCIPLESHIP)

“Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God.” Hebrews 6:1 (NIV)

“In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!” Hebrews 5:12 (NIV)

  1. GOD WANTS ME TO _________________ SOMETHING BACK. (MINISTRY)

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

“What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?”

  1. GOD WANTS ME TO ________________________ HIS LOVE.  (EVANGELISM / MISSION)

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
