What If Mundane Moments Turn into A God Moment? 12/14/25

In this sermon from Luke 5:1–11, we see that Jesus often steps into the most ordinary and unremarkable moments of our lives—just as He did when Peter was tired, discouraged, and simply doing his job after a night of failure. Rather than waiting for Peter to become more spiritual, Jesus meets him right where he is, then calls him to trust beyond his own logic by obeying a command that didn’t make sense. Through Peter’s obedience, Jesus reveals His power in a miraculous catch and transforms Peter’s fear into purpose, calling him into a new mission. The message challenges us to recognize that God still interrupts our everyday routines, inviting us to trust Him, obey Him, and step into a greater purpose—often beginning with a simple “yes” in an ordinary moment.
