Why Jesus Should Have Absolute Authority In Your Life! 03/29/26

This message from Mark 1:21–28 teaches that Jesus speaks with absolute authority, not merely as a teacher offering helpful advice, but as the Holy One of God whose words confront darkness, expose what controls us, and set people free. In the synagogue, the people were amazed because Jesus taught differently than the scribes—He spoke as the source of truth, not simply as someone quoting others. His authority was also revealed when He commanded an unclean spirit to be silent and come out of a man, showing that nothing in the spiritual realm rivals His power. The passage challenges us not just to admire Jesus or be impressed by Him, but to surrender every area of our lives to Him, because when Jesus has absolute authority, everything changes.
